Our faculty of professional educators are distinguished research and pedagogical scholars who make teaching their first priority.  They also nurture strong relationships with community partners, providing bridges for students to engage in internships, service-learning, and off-campus research experiences.

Essential Duties

Duties will include:

- Teaching lower-division courses and upper-division courses in anatomy.
- Additional assignments may include teaching general education, capstone, and graduate courses.
- Developing a scholarly research program.
- Providing service to the Department and University.
- Providing service and/or outreach to the community.
- Academic and career advising of students.

Required Qualifications

- Ph.D. in Anatomy or a related discipline. ABD candidates will be considered. If ABD, candidates will be required to complete the doctoral degree prior to August 2018.
- Prior college-level teaching experience and a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence.
-Research that can be adapted to a comprehensive state university where teaching is the primary focus.

Preferred Qualifications

-Interest in innovative teaching strategies to foster student success.
- Ability to develop a research program involving undergraduate and Masters level students.
- Ability to advise pre-health professional students.
- Experience with diverse student populations.
